Alison Moore

Alison Moore is the author of The Lighthouse, shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize 2012 and for New Writer of the Year in the National Book Awards 2012. Alison's short stories have appeared in various magazines and anthologies including Best British Short Stories. A debut collection will be published by Salt in spring 2013. Born in Manchester in 1971, she lives near Nottingham with her husband Dan and son Arthur. She is a member of Nottingham Writers’ Studio and an Honorary Lecturer at Nottingham University.
