Robert Sheppard

Part of the radical literary avant-garde sometimes called ‘linguistically innovative’, poet-critic Sheppard's most recent books are Warrant Error, a verbal intervention into the War on Terror and Berlin Bursts, which contains poems that explore one of his persistent themes of human unfinish. Anthologised in the OUP Anthology of Twentieth Century British and Irish Poetry he is Professor of Poetry and Poetics at Edge Hill University. Visit his blogzine Pages.
